Christina "Do NOT Call Me Tina" Contreras #11
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Christina's road to Zeitgeist was long, often circuitous, but never boring. As a child, she spent most of her days practicing interpretive dance and her nights street fighting. Both hobbies instilled in her a deep respect for both art and athleticism, which would treat her well in her later endeavors. After high school, it was her love of football that led her to try out as a cheerleader for the Dallas Cowboys. One day she challenged a new recruit to flyers up. After the coaches saw her sky the crap out of little Tony Romo, they moved him to QB and offered Christina a spot on the roster as wide receiver. Negotiations went sour when the franchise refused to let her wear a green headband (her favorite color) under her helmet, so she left Texas for sunny California.
At Stanford, Christina studied Geological and Environmental Sciences, allowing her to travel to far off lands (like Djibouti, New Zealand, and Houston). Traveling helped Christina foster her new interest in photography, which has recently led her to art school. Whether snapping shots of her friends and her (extremely friendly!) family, schooling Tony Romo, or rooting for Cardinal football, Christina is one of the nicest, baddest-assed people you'll encounter.
