Judy "Crazy Wolf" Jarvis #3
Judy Jarvis is one of ZG's 2010 prodigious rookie class. Judy started playing ultimate casually at Vassar, where she went to school. However, she initially spent her competitive energy playing Squash (it's really big at Vassar). However, after her brief foray into the world of raquets (where she built up her lower body muscles and her forehand smash), she came to her senses and devoted herself to frisbee. (Luckily for us, she also didn't make the Quidditch team.) She quickly rose to the rank of (co) captain of the Boxing Nuns earning the nickname General on the way (probably because she's so quiet).
Judy is also big in media. And when we say big in media, we're talking about hundreds of articles published in the Lancaster newspapers, where she wrote a weekly music review column, and in The Miscellany News, the newspaper of record of Vassar College, where she was a senior editor. Not to mention winning the Jane Dealy and Woodrow Wirsig Memorial Prize for accomplishment and promise in journalism.
When she's not training for, visualizing, or playing ultimate, Judy does research for the LFA group where she applies her degree in Psychology and Media Studies.
